At Riverpark Dental, we have equipped ourselves with the digital carries (tooth decay) detector that is leading the dental industry in diagnosis. It is always best to catch dental problems as soon as possible and our software assists us in doing so. Though our dentists are passionate and experts at diagnosing and seeing things the patient cant, it is of course sometimes difficult to diagnose the current situation between teeth. This not only gives us an idea how your dental health is progressing, but also gives you useful information as areas to focus on in your routine home brushing and flossing.
Watch VideoWhile it is impossible to promise a patient that there will be no pain in a procedure, we can take action in eliminating pain as much as possible. Dentistry is constantly advancing and so is Riverpark Dental, and we keep up with the progression by offering the STA (Single Tooth Anesthesia) system to our patients.
No one likes needles and for the majority of time they have been necessary for numbing an oral area. With the STA system, needles are no more! Instead, the system numbs the area by placing the anesthetic in the gum pocket- the area between the gum and the tooth.
With the STA system we can systematically avoid freezing unnecessary parts of the gum tissue; instead, we have the flexibility of only freezing the subjected area of one tooth. There is no need to worry about feeling overly numb after your treatment is done because this system is done through a computer, allowing us to deliver the right amount of anesthetic to the most accurate degree.
At Riverpark Dental, we offer the iTero Digital Imaging software, it is our impressions software and replaces the traditional putty impression method. This software captures every aspect and detail of your tooth and gum structure by using highly accurate lasers and optical scanners. The impressions are without flaw.
Our patients regularly tell us how much they appreciate the iTero Digital Impressions software because it eliminates any gag reflex, and they are able to see their treatment immediately.
Riverpark Dental recognizes the connection between overall health and dental health, and we contribute to the healthy thriving of that connection by offering x-rays that emit much lower amounts of radiation compared to traditional x-rays. By keeping you healthy and protected from harmful things we can enhance your dental health, and vice versa.
In everything we do at Riverpark Dental, it all relates back to our mission of providing the most enjoyable dental experience. We know injections are something many patients fear, but it helps to realize something not many people know of- the pain you feel is from the anesthetic moving through the gums, not the actual needle itself. To take this pain away, we adjust the temperature of the anesthetic to be very similar to your body temperature. It is not guaranteed that the injection will be painless, but so many of our patients are shocked to find themselves clenching the dental chair after the needle has already been removed. That’s how unanimous it can be!
Our dentists and Patient Care Specialists at Riverpark Dental know the procedures and equipment inside and out and thus can understand how nervous patients can be prior to their treatment. We provide laughing gas treatment for our patients who are apprehensive about a dental appointment. The laughing gas, commonly known scientifically as nitrous oxide, will make you laugh, relaxed, and settle down the repetitive worrying thoughts that are cycling through your mind.
Dental cone beam computed tomography (CT) is a special type of x-ray equipment used when regular dental or facial x-rays are not sufficient. Riverpark uses this technology to produce three dimensional (3-D) images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways and bone in a single scan.
From traditional panoramic exams to endodontics, implant planning and oral surgery applications, this unit is capable of far more than the average 3D unit. Accurate 3D representations ensure optimal diagnostic results. CAD/CAM abilities empower you to perform more procedures in your office.
Combining CBCT technology with a selectable field of view and low dose imaging, the CS 8100 3D is designed to limit radiation dose and ensure safer exams. Low-dose mode delivers high-quality 3D images at the same or lower dose as a standard panoramic exam. Open, face-to-face design puts patients at ease and promotes comfort. Fast scanning times (7 seconds minimum) prevent movement and improves the overall quality.
