Dr. Tarek Sharkas

Dr. Tarek Sharkas - Board Certified Prosthodontist

Dr. Sharkas earned his board certification from Royal College of Dentist in Canada (RCDC) in Prosthodontics and has more than 10 years of experience in Dental Implants and full mouth rehabilitation cases.

He finished his studies at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in 2006 from USA in Prosthodontics Fellowship Program; he then joined in the University of Pittsburgh, school of Dental Medicine and UPMC (ranked top 10), USA, for residency program in Prosthodontics.

He then earned his Master of Dental Science degree from University of Pittsburgh and finished the North East Regional Board examination (NERB), the requirement for the United States Board Dental Licensure.

Dr. Sharkas has been selected as one of the recipients of the 2006-2007 American College of Prosthodontists Education Foundation (ACPEF) Research Fellowship Awards. The competition was keen 18 high quality applications from all over the United States.

Currently he is a part-time clinical instructor at Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry of University of Western Ontario, Canada.

In his free time, he enjoys building model radio-controlled helicopters and participating in the local flying events.
